Breakfast Brew: Winter Stout
Here at true Batch Brew we’ve always been great fans of Dungarvan Brewing Company. Last Winter they released a delicious seasonal Coffee and Oatmeal Stout. Using this as our source of inspiration, today we’re gearing up for the chilly season ahead by brewing a stout. Truly the breakfast of champions, it’s a Coffee and Porridge Stout. In the main grain bill we’ll add some jumbo oats and when we’re bottling we’ll add some coffee (freshly ground medium roast). We’re always keen on sourcing local producers and supporting Irish produce. A couple of great Irish Coffee producers are Badger and Dodo from Cork or Silverskin from Dublin.
